Almost everyone loves to save, and many businesses have resorted to giving out rewards and deals to loyal customers. This has started a recent trend among mobile retailers who want to give something back to their subscribers in the form of rewards. One such retailer is Sprint, but the one that gets a lot of attention is T-Mobile. Let’s talk about T-Mobile Tuesdays.
T-Mobile Tuesdays
The Un-carrier began handing out rewards to customers back on June 6, 2016. For 3 years, the program has offered existing T-Mobile customers free items, discounts, sweepstakes, and exclusive offers.
Eligible Participants
In order to participate in the rewards, you must be an active T-Mobile subscriber. Subscribers must have either a personal or business branded monthly rate plan. Additional active lines on a plan are eligible for rewards so long as they remain active before use. Customers must be over the age of 8 or 3 with parental consent with the U.S. Those who do not have eligible plans through T-Mobile can not participate in T-Mobile Tuesday, but are eligible for some of the mobile retailers; sweepstakes which can be accessed here.
Accessing Rewards
Accessing rewards is simple. All a T-Mobile subscriber needs to do is head over to Google Play or the App Store to download the application. Once downloaded, the subscriber must open the app and when prompted enter their telephone number for access. Once signed up, they will need to revisit the app every Tuesday to claim a reward.
Past Rewards
In the past, T-Mobile had exclusive rewards like $5 off movie tickets through Atom tickets, free Taco Bell, free touch screen gloves, Samsung Galaxy giveaways, and even Starbucks gift cards. They are continuing on-trend. The posted deal for 1/14/2020 was a free Whopper from Burger King accessible through the restaurants’ new mobile app. Other offerings included an offer to receive a Bark Box for $15 rather than $22, 40% off hotels through Booking.com, reserve tickets through Live Nation, $.10 per gallon off at the pump at participating Shell gas stations, as well as free food from Taco Bell.
Similar Rewards Programs
If you are not a T-Mobile subscriber do not worry, many mobile companies are offering up similar rewards experiences to loyal customers. Sprint has My Sprint Rewards that features a free Fandango Movie rental every month, and special savings for restaurants and entertainment. Verizon also has the Verizon Up Program that features exclusive deals on concert tickets and device upgrade rewards
T-Mobile has made quite an impact on its subscribers with T-Mobile Tuesdays. The retailer is thanking subscribers for their loyalty with discounted movie tickets, free food, and other exclusive savings and discounts. The app is readily available and accessible. With just a simple download and number verification the deals are at the subscribers’ fingertips. The deal is offered to all subscribers over 18, or 13 years old with parental consent that subscribes to a monthly mobile plan.
